Great dive bar! Awesome vibe, reasonably priced drinks, nice bartenders. Cash only tho - there's an ATM with a $3 withdrawal fee. Also, they have fußball, pool, darts and a super sweet doggo running around:)

A place where a couple of tourist Michiganders can wander in and make friends instantly over a few tasty drinks. Dive bar vibes to the max. Folks shared stories w/ us, explained Fairbanks and gave us top recommendations for things to do, see, and eat. Enjoyed hanging w/ the old timers, the regulars and Gambit. Highly recommend. And also ring that bell; buy the folks at the bar a drink!

Chill microbrewery with good vibe. Kaylyn was working the bar and he had good recommendations and knowledge about the beers on tap. Brewing some here, and they have some guest/colabs. Fun dive vibe inside, gorgeous summer beer garden vibes outside. Lovely chill spot in town where we planned the rest of our trip.

Great little dive bar! We loved that there was a brewery up too and a dive bar below. Totally different atmospheres but it worked! Definitely recommend!

If you're looking for the place that perfectly encapsulates the rugged charm of Fairbanks, Midnite Mine is the spot you're looking for. Located downtown, this iconic dive bar has been a local institution for over 50 years, and its brewery offshoot—founded in 2017—continues the tradition of serving up satisfying experiences. Unfortunately for us, we were only able to try the Midnite Mine Golden Ale as the brewery was in the process of migration to their new stand alone home. The beer itself was crisp and approachable, unpretentious and well crafted. It’s the kind of beer that makes you feel right at home in the mines upstairs bar, or the legendary dive bar downstairs. Seriously though, don't forget to head down into the basement bar that has this eccentric, unmatched atmosphere that is equal parts quirky and historic.

Wow, what a great place to hang out and make new friends! Great service and a great facility! Pool, darts, music and a big deck out back to hang out on and have a quick smoke. Bartenders were kickass individuals that produced alcoholic concoctions quickly. If you ever go thru Fairbanks stop in and stay awhile!

Very cool dive bar that most of the locals go to. All of the bartenders are unique and full of great stories to listen to. Its not too loud so if you want to go catch with a friend, or play some pool, you will have the privacy you need. The two level portion is cool as well, however the upper portion closes around 10PM while the lower portion stays open until 2PM or so.

What a great local bar. Cocktails were great, the puppy’s saying hi to everyone was awesome especially Gamit! Met the owner and he showed us a few of the neat features of the bar.

Top dive bar in downtown Fairbanks. Google brought me here as i was in the mood for a night cap. The basement level bar has pool tables & darts-cash only! The upstairs bar is chill & you may pay by card. Logan is the best local bartender i've met in FBX. He is personable & engaging with patrons. He made a fantastic Blood Orange Old Fashioned, which are rare to come by at bars. Be frank with your taste profile & they can customize to make it work. Cozy & laid back atmosphere. The interiors & decor give an old timey & industrial vibe. As a visitor from out of state, i felt instantly welcomed! They play great music: mostly classic rock & some country. 💎🍸🫶

Logan makes the ultimate old fashioned you will ever have. Don't let anyone tell ya different. Let him make it for ya the right way and you won't be disappointed. No fast food is good and good food ain't fast. That includes drinks. You won't be disappointed.
